Oh no. Hope it wasn't serious. Too soon to ask how is the bike?

Ankle and knee are a bit swollen and his knees used to have a bit more skin. He says he's heading to medical first thing tomorrow morning. My diagnosis is a sprained ankle and knee.

That bike crashes incredibly well. Gonna have to get a new frame slider puck, a new shifter lever and peg on the vortex rearsets. Some paint on the lower fairing eventually as well....oh, and an excavator to get rid of all the dirt piled up in the lower.

(and thanks again for the psychedelic earplugs!)

While I haven't forged a creek with the Daytona, I have done gravel, mud, grass, and horse shit. Fun times!

I found an excuse to buy more tools... I found this out because my compressor is too wimp to seat the bead on a 160 tire. Lucky for me, franks just just barely up to the task and I got the tires mount on my now TUBELESS spokers for the Katooom. More than a pound of each wheel for my efforts.

It's already half broke - with all those wires hanging out... and stay tuned tool collectors. A light duty compressor might be coming up in a few weeks, looking for a new home.

Air compressor. No slippery diesel needed

Finally did the maths for my KTM wheel project to date: These numbers are from 17" wheels on a 690 (160 rear)

Totals so far are:
Front Wheel: -19.85 Oz.
Rear Wheel: -22.9 Oz.

Swapping from a 'Stealth' sprocket to an all AL one

Totals so far are:
Front Wheel Assembly: -19.85 Oz.
Rear Wheel Assembly: -36.6 Oz.

With tires - Previous Pirelli Diablo 2, new Dunlop Q2 same sizes
Front wheel w/ tire: -11.25 Oz
Rear wheel w/tire: -46.5 Oz

Got a lighter front rotor on back order, so we'll see what the real totals are if it ever arrives
