Installed a Trail Tech Vapor on my bike...

Sweet Jeebus, that's a goodie!.. My buddy is pimpin' his old bike and has been looking for something digital to complete his vision. The black Vapor is gonna do the trick I think.  waytogo

Just got the email that my car is at the VPC in Baltimore.  Now I just need to get hooked up with a ride to go get it...

And off to the dog park I go...

I did a little searching online and decided that the Vapor gives me the most bang for my buck. The guys at Moto Gadget (http://www.motogadget.com/us/frameset.html) make some pretty sweet tachs but they're too expensive ... at least for now Wink

Only issue I'm having is that the tach is jumpy, but I should be able to solve that soon. I'll post in the Accessories thread once I'm all done.

So...  I've been here in DC for a week now and everyday I ask the office when I am going to be able to check in so I am not charged an excess amount of leave.  I was selected for this assignment over six months ago, and they STILL have no idea how to in-process me.

Had a chat with the owner of the condo I was supposed to take today, and told him that I wanted out of the lease.  He said he was fine with that but didn't want to let me out until he/we found someone else to move in.

pull the old "too bad, I am getting redeployed elsewhere" and point to the military serviceman clause in the contract/lease and keep on walking...

Actually turns out its a CB700 and a CX500... The CB is destined for CookieMonster to replace her long sold 620... the CX... well... Might need some CPR we'll see. IF it can be made safe than it'll be a beginner bike for the SO. If it can't be made safe and sufficiently reliable (with reasonable efforts) then she's a scrapper

No turbo AFIK.

Might be a bit heavy... but she has HD aspirations... that I'm trying to educate her out of.

Valkerie, no warrior princess perhaps. She might be taller n you. Put her in even low heals and she's got me.
