Sick the Jags on him. Pretty well seems the guy's a misrepresenting, duplicitous douche.

I was actually advised by both the Alexandria BAR and the Alexandria Tenant/Landlord relations office not to involve the military legal team simply because they are not the most adept at local issues such as this.  I don't know how the guys at Bolling are, but the ones at Hickam weren't the sharpest tools in the shed...

PICS?!

Pics or it didn't happen, eh?!? Wink

I was actually planning on riding it over to the meetup today, but the carbs (FCR 41's) just dump gas from the overflow. Probably a stuck floater... and the fun has just begun! Grin

Speaking of babies, here's the new family member:

Cleaned out the carbs yesterday: fixed the stuck float, it no longer pisses gasoline!

Of course, the fun cannot end just yet! On the way back from the gas station last night this happened:

I was pulling nicely from a light, enjoying a gentle (Evil) acceleration when everything just shut off. I was able to wedge the broken wire between the battery case and the connector and it stayed there long enough to ride the bike back home.

FUN TIMES!  Grin

Nice.  Is that the stock color scheme, or was it re-done?

Not a clue. Neither does the previous owner have one.

The bike has an aluminum swingarm, adjustable forks and tach which made me think it might be a 900s... I'll have to do some research.

I remember seeing that bike on CL or maybe Fleabay before...I think last fall...it is NOT a stock scheme...it was repainted/modeled to mimic a Superlight SS...nice bike, but at the time I saw it, the guy was shmokin something good when he was asking nearly $6K for the bike.

congrats on the new to you purchase though!!!
