Had a shitty morning, so taught my class, skipped my office hours and headed out for a ride. Forgot Rock Creek Parkway was closed on holidays, so I had an out and back quickie on River Road. Attitude adjustment; check!

While running daddy daycare today, I managed to find my next piece of gear...

The tank bag is too big for most day trips. And I can't stand backpacks unless it's my hydro and it's 95+ degrees outside. Don't like tailbags because, well... just because. Sooo I found me a sweet chest pack that's small enough to stay lightweight and out of the way, but large enough to hold a wallet, mobile, keys, granola bar, instant water, and a few extra tools. Plus easy access and better center of gravity.

Unfortunately, the company is in Europe and I'm having a wicked time finding a seller this side of the pond.

If you're willing to rock a Baby Bjorn, why not go whole hog and just man up with a fanny pack?

Where in Europe?  I've still got buddies over there.  They can always buy it, and then send it over here via MPS.

I will be talking to you about this...I want the new generation quick-lock tankbag mount from SW-Motech, but it's not available in the states from their distributor (twistedthrottle.com).

Where I'm from dope dealers wear fanny packs. I learned pretty early not to make fun. That's all I'm gonna say about fanny packs.

Looks to be Norway (http://www.civilianlab.no/).

It's the new generation of the tankring you have...the bottom ring doesn't stick up as high as the one you have. I'm afraid that thing would impale me laughingdp
