Seriously?

Yeah. We were over at her parent's place for dinner and they gave us a ton of their old Christmas decorations for our house. Instead of tossing them into the basement only to drag them out again in a few weeks she put them up. I'm not complaining, it kept her busy for a few hours while I got to work on the house. Cleaned out the basement workshop in anticipation of winter projects too. This is my first winter owning my house, so I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time hunkered down in the workshop fixing the stuff I never got to over the summer.

The good: had mike give the s2r some love...including some new rubber. This bike is smooth like butter now.

The bad: ran out of gas in the middle of the 395 bridge. Pushed it down into the park. Now I'm sitting on the sidewalk waiting on gas. FML!!!!

I had my bike shut off at the same place not too long ago because I didn't tighten the battery connection enough.  Sucked.  Luckily I was at the top of the bridge so I was able to coast downhill until there was finally a shoulder to pull off on.  I live right by the 395 massachusetts entrance.  Let me know if you need a hand.

I finally installed my Suburban Machinery handlebars.  Going to take them on a test run tomorrow.  The only problem I had was that the handlebars don't work with my bikini fairing, so I had to remove it.  I kind of like having the bikini fairing there, so now I'm going to have to figure out what to do.  Unfortunately, I never got one of those covers for the instrument panel, so I'll have to buy one.

I've got one! I'll put my bikini fairing back on and you can have the cover (it's black, though).

Awesome.  Thanks a lot   I never planned on sporting the no bikini fairing look, but I guess I will have to do it if I want to use these bars.  So far, I'm liking them.

Dropped off the s2r for tank replacement...and was really glad that I took 50 instead of 66. That wind was cold today. Looking forward to an operational tank and installation of the heated glove liners that I've been too lazy to remove the tank and install.  Not quite sure why coffee is  coffee and not hot chocolate. Huh?

Drove to Tysons Corner. bang head

I dunno what the fack they're building out there, but it better be magnificent! It better be the kind of shit you marvel at from outer facking space! Humpback whales better migrate to this facking place! Apple will surely relocate its headquarters to this amazing destination! Letters addressed to Santa will be answered here by an army of recently divorced MILFs bored with their lavishly decorated timeshares!

Then, and only then, will there *begin* to be an explanation for the clusterfack I witnessed today.

Did you hit a "LITTLE" bit of traffic followed by conflicting roadsigns every two feet by chance?
