Pepe....did you roll the car up onto stands or anything to increase the room for access?...it makes a HUGE difference...hence why I have ramps and stands....
The only way to really have good access to the spot would be to take off the whole front end of the car: bumper, lights, radiator, fans (!!!)... everything. Then it would be just plug and play.
And really the main issue wasn't the engine mount itself but all the stuff around it, electical wires and tubing. I know far too well how easy it is to strip the head of a bolt when the socket wrench isn't flat agains the head and slips off.
I didn't use stands because there's more than enough space underneath the car for access, and all I needed to lift the engine was the jack. It's just a matter of placing it at the right spot!

Nope.
2008 Civic Si.
26K miles, in very good condition, 14K!
Couldn't find a TDI on craigslist with less than 100+K miles. And VW doesn't have any financing offers on them. So I started looking around for a used Golf, and checked also for a GTI and finally came along this Civic.

Nope.
2008 Civic Si.
They used to hang traitors.
I keed I keed, fine purchase. If you ever need to bump start it with a hand crank though, my ratchet handle should just about do the trick. Be careful though, your transmission might not be used to that much torque.

Heh, yea when the Golf is running it has enough torque to pull the Si like a big dog walked by a little kid
For some reason Honda didn't want to put a Turbo or a Compressor in the Si, so it has to rev up high to get power.
I did find a few aftermarket forced induction kits tho, so that can be fixed!

There's a fabulous joke in there somewhere but for the life of me I'm just not clever enough right now to put it together.
