Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Got pulled over twice by the local  Police on Cap. Hill.  and received this wonderful piece of literature...

What may you ask was I doing.  The first time I was pulling out of the the BP on 7th street and the next time I was at a stop sign.

The first conversation went like this...

LEO - Pull over
Me - You've got to be kidding me.
LEO - We're pulling riders over to educate them on DC's new zero tolerance rule for motorcyclists who refuse to obey the law.
Me - Did i do something improper when pulling out of the BP?
LEO - No! Drivers license and reg. please
Me - Here you go
LEO - Where is your exhaust and nice plates.  You may get one of those tonight if you're lucky.
Me - Exhaust is at home.  Was having mechanically trouble so I took it off (not really).
LEO - Put them on otherwise you will get a $100.00 fine.
Me - Great...
LEO - Everything checks out.  Have a nice day and remember zero tolerance!
Me - Thanks.

Second police stop starts like this
Me - This has got to be a joke.  Do I have pull me over written on my back or something.....

I do expect to get a little hassle for my plates, however, I was just shocked as to what I could have been doing that warranted me getting pulled over while exiting to lot of a gas station.

They are running ads on the radio too.

Oh so get this shit guys - i rode my BIKE!
After lots of waiting and work the 900 as all back together and fired up on the first press. The renovated shock feels good. It definitely needed the service rear end feels better then it did before it went out... but if you send it to Ohlins, expect a bit of a wait to see it back

I'm going to post this picture on my other forum if that's okay.  Interesting.  I didn't know anything about this initiative.  I'm going to try and be extra careful around the city.
