Bought a (very used) Jeep.  It's not a bike, but it should prove more useful over the winter.

My bike has been FCR'd and I had the biggest grin on the way home Grin Besides the improvement in throttle response, I didn't know they came with crickets. Thanks again to the magic helper. bow down

Too bad you have no clue how to fix it...

But that does suck. How far from work were you?

and I have no clue where I am going to get the part either Wink

I was about 2 miles from work when smoke was curiously coming from behind the car and luckily hit no lights all the way in on that part of my commute....light came on about an 1/8th of a mile from work and I parked and the steam riseth from under the hood after I turned the car off....popped the hood and saw exactly what hose it was....hope to have it all resolved for to be able to drive the car home tommorrow...in the meantime, I'll have to drive the company F150 home with it's gihugic 8foot bed and figure out where to park in the neighborhood....

Reassembled the ABA getting ready to drop it into the Golf next weekend. Anyone here own or have access to a shop crane? It's a VW motor, so a 3/4 ton would be more than enough.

Been scarce lately, working on the car and upkeep on my grandmother's place have been kicking my ass.

What's the latest?

Waiting on the official police report to be completeso I can shove it down their throats.  The adjuster came out and said"  I have no idea about this bike...where do you plan on taking it for an estimate"  I said an Aprilia dealer....Colemans wanted 148.00 for an estimate, Chesapeake Cycles said he is backed up iwth 4 other bikes waiting to be fixed and the parts I would need are already on backorder through Aprilia in Italy.

Sat in an office killing time checking the unread posts from the last visit. Nice to see I'm not the only one going thru the forums on a wednesday.

Headed up to Sugarloaf Mtn. on Friday and again today. Good fun!

This is the only fall out of both days (and not because I didn't try laughingdp). I'm learning how to stand on the pegs and shift my (non-indifferent) weight around the bike. I'm okay-ish on gravel, but mud gets me, I think in part because of the tires (Metz Tourance) that came with the bike. We'll see  Grin
