Yep - limped in around 6:30.  Frank was a trooper and stuck with me the whole way. Went through the whole plug kit they were not holding. Even when they did I was still losing air at the valve stem threads. So there were a number of stops to reflill. That pump was a great idea Lars. Other wise I'd have been stuck on the side of 4.

While stopped off 4 a big truck generated enough wind to push over the KTM and bent the hand guard into the front brake. So besides having a leaking tire I only had a rear brake for most of the trip home.

Accidentally backed it into 90 degree right leaving an air stop. Went to grab front brake - zero and then stomped the rear, clutched it and gassed it and slid it onto the highway ramp. Not exactly the way I envisioned my first instance of really getting her sideways.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

DRKWNG

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I was pondering a shorty lever... now it's mandatory!

Shocker, ASVs seem to be the least expensive fancy ones on eBay

Not sure how keen you are buying china made products but I bought a set from the2wheels. They fit perfect and seem sturdy. If you are interested go to an auction for the type of levers you want (there are 3 types) and choose the cheapest one (usually the one that is about to expire). It doesn't matter if the listing is for a different bike. Just use the buy it now and just fill out your make, model, color combo, and short/regular length.

I'm leery. Now some of those china manuf have proven to be good - ref Ducatiz and his rotors. But of course they get an extra eyeing and research.

I looked up that seller and only saw one type of lever. An I missin' something?

He has the foldable, adjustable ones, chrome adjustable, and normal adjustable (the ones I went with). Here is the link I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/270606624205?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

On the bike closest in the pic what kind of tank pad is that? Custom cut techspec?

The tank pad in the center is a Ducati Corse pad, the side pads on the tank are Tech Spec and cut very small for just enough grip without taking away from the bike.

Those talking about levers.  On the S4R I have gold CRG long levers shown in the pic.  On my Aprilia and Kawasaki I got the shorty ones off ebay from China.  In all honesty they both look the same except a lack of CRG stamping.  My bikes are always garaged, so not sure how the anodizing will hold up on the China replicas, but the quality, bolts, and feel is about the same.

35.00 shipped vs. 179.00 +shipping...I will buy the China replicas again.

Chatted with Frank yesterday evening and I'm wishing he had a camera running. According to him my rear was some place "past 45 degrees" to the front when I backed it into that on ramp.

Now if I could manage that on purpose as opposed to pure chance with a garnish of make the beast with two backs up
