I'll second that.  Had a really good time!  Well, until that Camry screwed everything up on the 218.

Yeah, that was a blast! Thanks for having me along. Group riding really helps build the skilz, I think. I found my back protector on a table in front of Starbucks with a bottle of water sitting on it. Faith in fellow man restored, etc. Tony -- I hope you made out OK. Let us know.

All,

I enjoyed riding with everyone too and thanks for the great company.  Sorry for the inconvenience I caused with my tire problem.

Lars â€" Thanks for the escort* and it was good riding with you again.  I look forward to making one of your rides soon.

Gene â€"  I'm sorry that I couldn't take the Virginia part of the route home.  I'm sure it was tasty.  I'm definitely up for a Tims II run, but I'm not so sure about going to a place called Oldies in Prunytown.  Prunytown, really?

Scott â€"Real good seeing you again.   I'm going to see if I can find your back protector and will let you know if I have any luck.   I look forward to riding with you in the future.  Glad you retrieved your back protector.

Ben- It was great meeting you.  Welcome to CAM.   Your KTM SD is truly raucous and looks like it's a lot of fun to ride.

* After Lars and I peeled off, we made it to Atlantic Cycle where they fitted a Michelin Power pure 2ct on my rear wheel.  Props  to Tex and DW at Atlantic Cycle.  Tex worked at CPS Woodbridge and was good friends with Ben B; and DW was the Ducati Tech at CPS Fairfax.

Tony ,absolutely fantastic ride!!!!

Can't wait to do it again.

Wish I could have gone the 218 route with Gene but it was gettin kinda late.

Next weekend will be here before you know it.

DRKWNG

Glad you got the tire sorted Tony.

Really glad that Scott's back protector was still there as well.  Pretty surprised now that I think about it.

And Lars, what's on the agenda for next weekend?

Dude, you spotted them.

Far from it brother.  I heard your groaning and simply followed the direction of your gaze.

Lars D

I was groaning from the sight of the sea-pig in the Lexus

DRKWNG

And here I was thinking that was the car groaning from the weight of said sea-pig.

Sadly we hit traffic on 218, had a couple of sections where we could open it up, but not the norm, too late in the day? Or maybe it's just because it's summer, either way I hope Scott and Ben find thier way down there and do a clean run, cause it's an awesome run down to the WAWA and then back up to fairview beach. - Gene

218 is a fantastic road and I have had the opportunity to hammer it quite a few times.

That was the car relieving itself.

Glad you were able to get the tire sorted out, guess that means I'll see you in AM. As for Prunytown, google maps wiil show you it is just past grafton, From Winchester it's about a 2 1/2 hour ride, nothing but twistys, and I might know a few roads to get back. Chili dogs aren't bad, jukebox, but the roads, the roads...... Also about time for a run up to Cumberland, for lunch on Baltimore street and the roads, the roads....- Gene
