I've got a block party to grill for on Sunday, so I'm out for day (ride & MotoGP). Booo!

Cool. Then I'll plan on a few folks coming by at some point after the ride to watch some racin'.

Sorry - couldn't make last night, Mon - Wednesdays are usually a no-go for me.

And tonight I hope to get these installed:

You will not recognize your bike with those on! Did you get 41 or 39? Where from and how much?

Yeah - I put them on my first SS and really liked them. Plus the tweety sound when you're hard on the gas is great. They're the 41mms.

Got them from Calif. CycleWorks  [http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/]  and I'm embarrassed to say how much.

been down that road Grin

I wanted to get them for the 750, but I thought it was too much of an investment in the bike. And for that money I could get many other mods: heads + pistons or a big bore kit ... hmm drool

But you can't really take advantage of all the headwork with the stock carbs. Besides the FCRs are "bolt-on pleasure".

Really, the most cost effective upgrade for a 750 is a 900.  Grin

I'd like to get out there, but Saturday would be better for me. Sunday's still a possibility.

I'll be back out in Bowie for a Sunday ride.  Might be good for tomorrow as well.

Scott and I are rolling tomorrow (Saturday). Heading west to maybe pick up a buddy on a Buell, then for a blast through the foothills. Meet at 8:30 at the Starbucks in Clarendon (address below). Stands up at 9:00'ish or whenever we're ready to brave the cold.

Tentatively in.  All depends on what time I get home tonight.   Evil

I'm in for the Bowie Sunday ride - 9:30ish again?

If people want to do MotoGP afterwards give me a headcount so I know what to expect, or PM me your cell so I can call you when we're headed back. If people want we can order some pizza. I'll provide the beer.
