Ok, we're meeting up at 8 am so get your coffee ready Cheesy The Sunoco station at 5015 Signal Bell Lane, Clarksville, MD

F THAT!

So what is the reasonable  plan for this weekend?  Normal ride on Sunday, then maybe head out west for Monday?

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Oh Lordy, he's a funny man.   cheeky

Waking up at five each weekday morning makes me not want to do so during the weekend.

And FYI, I was too tired for that malarky WAY before I decided to buy this place.   Grin

I might be in for some shenanigans on Monday, depending on how the work on Bianca goes. Undecided

I believe DucPond is having an event for the new Monster 1100 EVO today and Saturday.  I'll probably be headed out there tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along.  Will take the long route and enjoy the scenery.

Getting out on the road at 8AM on the weekends is the almost the latest you should venture out, 8:30 from Reston. Two things heat and traffic drive this observation. A nice ride until early afternoon, followed by a short nap before heading out early evening and festivities is a good pattern IMHO, but what do I know I'm just a kid.  Wink

Ducpond is indeed having the EVO event, I'll be there early Sat. AM, dropping off the Paso for some minor stuff and helping a riding buddy pickup a couple of his bikes, so I'll be in the Hot Rod truck.  Evil - Gene

We haven't had all that much trouble on our normal Sunday route through Anne Arundal County.  We normally don't actually start the ride until ten-thirty or so (a little later if Lars wants another cigarette) and traffic is normally pretty light.

I hear what you're saying though Gene.  We basically did the same sort of thing when I was still down in Hawaii.

Anne Arundel is right by me! How is it that I still haven't seen any Ducs in this area, even on weekends Sad

Once the work is done on John's bike I should be available for some of these weekend rides.

I have no idea about that neck of the woods, I tend to like the hills and mountains of VA/WV. - Gene

I need to get out that way a bit more, as I've only sampled a small portion of what it has to offer.
