I think I'm the only one that got dumped on, so...

One thing, I meant to mention this earlier but forgot: it looked like your headlight was out during the ride.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw that—it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Weird -- it's working now. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.

Yep, great ride! Brett and I found a few good roads after lunch. We also found some gawdawful roads. And, yes, our bikes got a good washing somewhere between Quantico and Alexandria.

Insult to injury: power has been out since I got home. FML.

Hey. My name is Colin, live in DC, and looking for some cats to ride with now and then. I've been riding for a while. If its not raining I will riding anyway and would love to meet up with some other Ducati riders. I've been riding Harleys for years... boaring....   Dolph

Welcome, Colin. Keep an eye on this thread for organized group rides. Also keep an eye out for weekly meetups.

I am definitely feeling sick tomorrow. Heading to Seneca Rocks.

Meeting at a local (Arl/Alex) coffee shop at 8:30-8:45. Kickstands up at 9:00. Plan for 320+ miles at a pace hovering around 15-25 over. Based on recent adventures, the route translates into ~7 hours of riding with ~2 hours of break, putting us back in town at 6:00.

The first 45 miles and the last 75 miles will be slab, unfortunately. It's unavoidable given how far west we'll push. The rest is a mix of the most fun/curvy/challenging roads in a days reach of DC, sprinkled with some scenic connector roads.

I want to limit the number of pilots to keep things nimble, and already have a +1. Send me a PM if you're in and I'll tell you where to meet. Ideally you have a hydropack.

Knowing how Brian's planned routes go, I think he meant by 6 AM. cheeky
