all I can say, after driving the shop truck yesterday afternoon, I was feeling awesome driving my Scooby home....and B-I hear ya on the northern driving skillset ( I learned how to drive in the snow in an 83 RX7 in the Berkshire Mountains on the other side of the state)...it is totally an issue moreso with the OTHER idiots on the road which make me want to blurt out like Ren on a regular basis.

Thursday night sounds good. How 'bout somewhere not so proud of their beers though.

Proud of their beers? Does that mean $$$?
How about the new Bier Baron (replaced the Brickskeller)?
Other ideas?

If I can get my work done on time tomorrow I'll try and make it down, if not I'm working late and am out.

The Brickskeller was a DC institution. It was the go-to place for beer before it became fashionable, but was also famous for being out of the first 5 things you picked, and the gross bathrooms and general mustiness. The same people opened RFD downtown, and I think wanted to sell the building the Brickskeller was in.
I was there once and can confirm that it was kinda gross and while they were (are) listed in the Guinness Book of Records for largest selection, I had to keep trying before they had one I picked in stock.
The new owners have supposedly cleaned up the place. Hopefully they've sped up the service.
