just like when people use "loser" and "looser" in correctly.

its not "he is a looser, because he beats his wife", its "he is a loser, because he beats his wife"...

the correct way to use that word is "the second bolt is looser than the first bolt and should be tightened" NOT "the second bolt is loser than the first bolt and should be tightened"

That;s a good case and point, sbrguy.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I hate it when people use apostrophes incorrectly, it's annoying. Capitals are good too.

Will this ever end?  ;D

[cheeky] yes you are right it will never ever end. yes the incorrectly was incorrect in my last posting and i never capitalize sentences on the forum boards, too much time.  yes good call on the "its" also, that was my bad.   [laugh] [laugh] [clap] [clap]

Why not...

I'd go farther but I'd break board rules.

Regarding the OP's primary concern, the brakes - I've accidentally sprayed WD on the rear and front brakes since that is what I use to clean the dust from the rims. It's quite difficult to avoid. WD40 will evaporate, it's no big deal. Wipe it off the best you can and ride it. I've never lost my brakes from accidentally spraying WD40 on the discs. Might be a bit slippery the first couple of times you use them but the friction comes back quickly.

Actually while we're at it, I'd have said spelt, rather than spelled, as well.
You can say "spelt" if you like, but unless you're referring to the hexaploid species of wheat, it's spelled "spelled".  Even in Australia  :)

I believe both are correct.

The brake/break thing is a pet hate of mine, as are misused apostrophes.
