I'm pretty anal also.

I won't start the bike if I'm not sitting on it with my clutch disengaged.

I have started them before and given them a small rev and had them vibrate almost off the stand let alone be in gear etc.

I don't stress about a long warm up as this is bad at idle, so I ride of carefully and no load or big revs till it's warm. Never had a relaibility issue.....never dropped it (yet)  works for me.

Q. What do little green lights and men have in common?

A.  They both can't be trusted.  laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Except for you Nickati.  waytogo

I dare say that you can trust men more than your neutral light. I like the hands on approach. Hand on the clutch, that is.
