You heard me dammit. No matter what I do, I cannot achieve a position on my stock seat that does not apply the majority of pressure directly underneath my ball sack, whilst simultaneously crushing my nads from above with tank on hard stops, etc.

wtf do i do? I've tried everything short of buying another seat :/ and even at that, I'm not sure what seat to buy..
It just seems that the monster seat is TOO narrow, it doesn't have that wide ass-area that, say, a gsxr 600 has...

Sad

any thoughts are appreciated... i might just start stuffing a foam square under my balls...  bang head

get some biker shorts/underwear. the padding will put less pressure in the center of your body and more on your butt bones.

Excellent suggestion! I'm definitely going to give this a go.
Much cheaper than trying to fit an SBK seat onto my monster or something stupid...

Really one of two things are going to help;

1 After market seat, most people go for the Sargent seats I am betting if you can not find a shop that has them in stock one of the bikes in the show room will have one. Sit on it.
I would not buy one with out testing it.

2 Man up. Naw I'm kidding, but you could put a little more weight on your pegs and less on your seat, try to get further back in the seat.

Well, i gave your suggestion a shot anyway Grin
Seem to be working! Things are a little awkward for me right now, having just switched to clipons. I'm still fumbling around trying to find that sweet spot for my positioning. I have made a conscious effort to put more weight on my pegs, and it seems to be helping a lot. Keeping my ass further back on the seat too.

thanks man!
no idea is a bad idea, i'm glad you mentioned it. even though i technically "know" it already, i still wasn't actively doing it. your reminder worked well.

my scrode thanks you.

Glad you found this useful - I was about to suggest something similar.

Sit back in the saddle, about a couple inches between your boys and the tank (I get further back). Put your weight on the pegs and squeeze your legs with your butt/thighs. This should satisfy your southern gentlemen and take the weight off your wrists.

I also put clip on's on my 696 recently... after adjusting them for more sweep, the position is much more comfortable. It's so much better that I'm considering dropping the headlight down a bit to get even more sweep. I'm only 5'7, but the position is making sense for me and my abnormally long torso. Just another idea for you to try.
