Wife just instructed me to buy her the new KTM Duke 125.

IF you need someone to run it in for her... you know, make sure it's safe and all... I'll be happy to donate my time.

What's up?
Just another day with too much to do, too little time to do it, and a faculty meeting thrown in for fun torture. [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]

Today will be better!

Having nothing really better to do today, I guess I'll true up my mountain bike wheel.  Ran straight into a hug Capitol curb last week.  Forks bent too, but not much I can do about those.  If anybody has some big-frame sized MB suspension forks laying about, let me know.

I've got a pair of new (read: use, not model year) XC Marzocchis that I'm willing to let go of (make an offer). The steer tube has been cut to fit a small'ish frame, so we'll have to take a look-see.

I think I left my spoke wrench in 1991.  Whoa those things cost almost as much as my bike!  Don't think they'd work anyway, my frame's XL 23.5".  But thanks!  Wheel trued good enough for gov't work, seems to work fine, forks look bent about 1.5" back, but they work.  I would've destroyed suspension forks with the hit I took, and gone down.

Wow - that Daytona is nice!

How about a radical Ducati? http://www.bikeexif.com/radical-ducati

I love their style! It's like they rid the bike of all the superfluous crap and bring out the old school beauty through simplicity. [thumbsup]
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

To make a Duc as badass as that, it would naturally has an ST2 motor. [thumbsup]

Winter mod shopping has begun, starting with the exhaust and tail tidy.

And while I wait for the goods to arrive, a few boring items showed up today...

A used, not-warped, rear rotor from ebay. And a crappy snap of

a lightweight front sprocket @ 14T. Rear sprocky and chain might make it tonight. The rear wheel is coming off and, hopefully, it's back on by Sunday AM.
