Wow, what a story!

I imagine being at sea all the time your eyes would start to ignore details of the frozen stuff floating around. That dog is lucky someone was attentive/alert/curious/etc...

all I can say is, I have never had an outage due to weather or other outside circumstances with Comcast for that long...

It's got nothing to do with weather or anything other than their complete incompetence and lack of regard for their customers. boo

No one in my building has lost service (phone, electric, water or anyting) due to the weather. What really pisses me off is that everytime we call customer service and speak to a tech they keep telling us that they'll have it fixed within 24hrs and as of today, it's still no net at home. I hate it when people lie to my face! Angry

my mom had a problem in her building with Fios at 1st and apparently the guy who was servicing Comcast customers was messing with the Fios connections to people in the building...maybe it is at the box where it comes in under similar circumstances?...I have also heard stories in the reverse of things as well...they all play those games if they can for to get service tickets for switching...
