I hate when it's beautiful out and I have a corded rear tire.

You could always buy a new one.  Just saying...

Lol.  I looked everywhere in my damn house this weekend to find it.  I think it's possible it got left at the powdercoater.  Gonna take a week for the new one to arrive  Sad

So, notice any difference in the way you/it feel/s after I tweaked the damping on the Daytona?

Yeah, it's much more stable going in and when braking before the corner. I didn't necessarily notice it before, but now that it's gone...I can tell that there was a little "hiccup" in the suspension as I was setting up/cornering. Has definitely decreased the pucker factor. I still need some work on picking lines and good corner entry speed. I'm also still not great at judging how much ass to get off the seat for a given curve. I should be able to get lots of seat time this summer and will hopefully be riding better and better.

It's ordered Julie, don't worry. Btw make the beast with two backs Dunlop, that thing lasted 4k tops.

Doood, what do you expect?  I'm surprised it lasted that long with the way you're winding that thing up and sliding around corners the way you are.

It's hard to wrangle in the raw power of the 695. I don't know if I'll ever find a tire that can handle the sheer torque.

I've got a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport tires if you want. Just help me take 'em off the rims and you can have them!

I ran into traffic last night, around 11:30 PM, in the most unlikely spot. No obvious obstructions... just plain ol traffic. I'm starting to notice this pretty regularly. So...

Does it seem the population here in DC has grown substantially compared to this time last year? I recall being able to move about more freely on most of my ant trails... wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Prices are a bit cheaper ($10-$15) at competition accessories http://www.compacc.com/p/Dunlop-Sportmax-Q2-Motorcycle-Tires-Z-Rated-Package-Specials I've been loooking around  Grin

Btw, bit of a tech question: what size tire on a 6-inch rear hub? I've seen 180/55 listed as fitting, but I'm wondering how much more "squashed" would the tire be, and if it's just better to go with a 190/50?
