What'd you say about my Momma?

Doubt it.  You show me a large (ish) group of people, half of which have more than a bit of money, and I'll guarantee someone is trying to market something to them.

Yea but all these people hawking car stuff are distracting from my cabinet conversations!

F-ers!

Last week at Cars and Coffee saw a bunch of press interviews.  Today at said event there was a huge Eastern Automotive bus with redskins cheerleaders handing out brochures and there was some dude from a  dealership hocking the latest Subaru.

Then there was the guy with the 1/2 scale nascar go cart, sniffing for sponsors.

Hopefully this commercialization is just a passing fad.......

That sucks.....hopefully it will pass or I can see some of those exotic cars becoming scarce.  How was the turnout?  Almost went but I thought with the threat of rain most cars would have stayed away.

I was pleasantly surprised at the turn out, it was good!  Last week was the most crowded Ive seen it.

There was a hilarious showdown between a loud, fancily dressed Asain woman and some dude on a Harley thinking he could cut through the interviews.

She stuck her leg out and basically dared him to ride over her foot.  The 5 second stare off was most amusing.

Still looking for the rat p/u truck!

Did you see the pot belly pig and the Vette blaring Top Gun.  Always a good show to see what does and doesn't get attention.  I think the pig had more photos taken than any of the cars on display.

Still haven't seen the rat??

What is it with you and your (not so) recent infatuation with red necks?

Anybody have experience with cash on delivery buys?

I'm looking at buying a new bike, and found an amazing deal, but the owner is trying to sell the bike by shipping it overseas. He claims that it has a US title and since he's in the navy he has the bike on duty with him in italy and wants to ship it. They claim that he will ship it to my house and let me inspect it before buying, but it seems to be too good to be true. I'm just trying to watch out for being scammed, since I really don't understand the legality of cash on delivery.

S-C-A-M

-Or if it is legit you need to be very careful.  Ben may have better insight since he was stationed in Europe, but my friend was in the Navy at Sigonella and he had a 749R.  He tried all hell to get it shipped back, but it was not on the DOT/NHTSA list of importable motorcycles and it failed to happen.  If he is active in the navy I can look him up in the email system and ask friends I currently have over there to help out.   Honestly I wouldn't risk it though keep searching here and a good deal always pops up.
