Boat is on a the trailer in Essex still.   The permits for the new pier and boathouse went in this week… meaning piling replacements go in perhaps two months from now.

The fishing, however, is great.  (Dana… come on up).

Zoom, no boat lift bags to pull, but G still makes a mean enchilada and there's booze.

I just offered up my RS, the 620, the 900/750 track bike, and the kendon trailer for 12K if anyone local is interested.    Sad

The bikes have track rash but are OK.

service needed.

We're focussing on sailing, a new house, and a possible cobra build.  Smiley

Hah! Ducati once again shows they are masters of restyling their product line. Just got the teaser for the Scrambler (very 70s-vibe video). Theory is it will be using the air-cooled motor; probably a smaller one (696?) since it's supposed to be a on / "off road" lightweight. "Off road" in heavy air quotes Smiley

The air-cooled engine just will not die! (and that's a good thing).

(I'm sure this is all over other sections of DMF, but since I'm CAM-centric...)

Oh yeah, the video / micro-site: http://scramblerducati.com

While the a-c engine isn't dead yet, it is getting rarer by the minute. In 2015 if you want an a-c bike, you'll be pretty much limited to cruisers, retro bikes (R Nine-T, Triumphs, Duc Scrambler) and Guzzis.

Not sure who, if anyone, had kept in touch with Randy after he retired from the Marines and moved down near VIR, but it seems he was in a pretty significant motocross crash the other day.  He is at Duke medical center, in NC, and last I heard is still on a respirator and has yet to regain feeling below the neck.  Let's everyone keep him in our thoughts, and wish for a speedy recovery.
