it's funny that you mention you didn't even touch the front brake...

last summer a guy in a car suddenly turned in front of me, i was traveling at very slow speed, 15-20mph and I did exactly the same thing, stomped on the rear only, did a little slide and just missed hitting the guy.

i learned to ride on the dirt also, i wonder if I was channeling that...

i practice my emergency stops pretty regularly, it's amazing how quickly you can slow if you need to

Yeah, I don't know why I stomped on the rear brake...I very rarely use it cause it makes so much noise...
