I wasn't even focusing on that part.  Yeah, not too cool.

That reads like he already signed a new contract with Honda and is being a little pregnant dogy.
On the positive note he is showing some (pesky) emotions and opinions and not being PR robot.

it really surprises me that anyone is surprised.  he does this shit all the time.  since 2006.

It was impressive to see Stoner come back from dead last to putting in a fight for 2nd, if only he didn't get a bad start.  Whatever his reasons for complaining is, it was entertaining to see him actually race in a competitive position.  Those last 6 laps were some of the more entertaining racing so far, IMO.

How can a bike almost explode then finish a race in top form?  I vote user error, or sabotage from the Ducati garage since they learned they were Fired for next year.

True.  Half the Ducati pit is going to be out of work if Rossi rides red.

Anyone else excited to see Dovi back on the pace?  I liked him a lot when he started, liked him even more after I got to meet him in person (not sure why that should make a difference, but he was a genuinely nice guy), then lost all faith last year when he was teh suck.  Now he's consistently fast (though not quite alien fast) and is second in the championship.  This is exactly the form he needs to be showing with the silly season in effect.

As far as that race, he did exactly what he needed to lock up second.  Though the time sheets say he beat Spies by .3 second, he was comfortably in second place.  No one was gonna get him on the last lap.

As a side note, it was interesting to hear Nicky say that he didn't know what to do with The Ben or where to pass him because Nicky hasn't spent any time riding behind The Ben and doesn't know his strengths and weaknesses.

I'm definitely liking Dovi's performance this year, 4 podiums to Dani's 2.

Ben rode a really smart race.
If he had been dicing with Hayden all race, he would have given away where he was slow.

"My, what big . . . uh . . . pucks you have!"

No wonder the Sukes are so slow.  No wheels.

Or maybe it's cuz their riders keep getting distracted

I thought the GP bikes had wheelie control?

This just doesn't look right.

Fack, those bikes are cranked over!

There it is . . .

Beefcake for gm2

Race shot

4-way battle for 2d

We're gonna see this shot again this season. .  .

Lorenzo can levitate

This is probably where the mechanics broke his bike.

This must be early in the race b/c Lorenzo hasn't yet opened a five minute gap to second place.

Close racing

Casey comin' through the field

The Ben stalkin' Nicky

Either The Ben is 7' tall or Lorenzo is 4' tall.  Maybe both.
