Here's another link with a bit of backstory.

Throw open the gates of Mars!

Wow! Nice clip, it not only looked painful, but it just wasn't right! I suppose we should learn something from other rider's mistakes. The first clue might have been the excessive length of tree-line next to the road indicating that anything could jump out in front of a rider at any moment. Caution should have been used while traveling this road. A similar incident occured to me in Colorado while just finishing up a ride at dusk. Luckily, as I approached the top of the hill a car flashed me with his headlights. That was enough to make me slow down. By the time I reached the top of the hill, there was a family of deer leisurely crossing the road right in front of me and not in a hurry. Needless to say, I always use extreme caution in heavily wooded areas when riding. You just never know what you don't know. Lesson learned, always expect the unexpected and attempt to anticipate obstacles before they appear, it will truly help your reactionary time.  Safe riding fellow Ducati lovers!

It looks like a road, Mars, but it's actually Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia.  I know lots of folks who have either encountered wildlife, or had close calls, in that section.  It's called "The Chute", and it's always been dicey there.

Glad the tracks out here aren't like that!
