"Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts (LFCSA) is pleased to announce a charity raffle with the grand prize being the last brand new, team liveried, fully 3-year warranted, never before registered, Ducati Desmosedici in North America. This charity raffle will raise money to benefit LFCSA. The Desmosedici winner will be announced at this summer’s Laguna Seca MotoGP event. Tickets for this raffle are $40 each. The MSRP of the Ducati is $72,500.  The D16RR was provided by Bill Nation, owner of Pro Italia Motorcycles (Glendale, CA) and the parent of a student at LFCSA."

I just saw this on my fb page. Checking with my insurance company to see how much I will have to pay when I win it. Wink

Ohhh I am so there!  I've heard from DR16 owners that insurance is not that much as it's based primarily on the bikes CCs - which was surprising to me because of the value of the bike... but that's what they said.

I just read the email for this from ProIT.  drool

If my math is correct, $40 for a $72,500 bike...that's a terrible return on your investment......

Nice!  Just keep in mind everyone that you'll need to pay the taxes on it prior to delivery as the IRS doesn't consider it a gift ... But still, a $20k D16RR? Sign me up  Grin
