They are both still soaking in uncooked rice (poor man's dessicant) inside a sealed freezer bag that sits in my hot truck during the day to bake out the moisture.  Haven't tried turning them on yet.  Tongue

The internet sez put it in rice for two days, which I did.  So I just turned it on, and it seems okay now.  waytogo  Hope it stays that way.  Great suggestion to put it in the rice, it was not happy on Sunday.

sweet!   waytogo  of course, it's also a good idea to always have a few ziplocks in a jacket pocket for just such occasions...

I'm going to plan a DFWM trip to Mount Magazine in Arkansas prolly Spring next year.  It will be a three or four day extravaganza.

Over the last couple of years, our family has stayed at Mt. Magazine three or four times; always a winner with stunning scenery and incredible Arkansas mountain roads right at your doorstep...Here's their website:

http://www.mountmagazinestatepark.com/lodge-cabin-rest/lodge/

And a map:
http://www.mountmagazinestatepark.com/maps-directions-weather/map.asp

They have a very nice lodge facility with traditional hotel rooms and a beautiful resturant within the lodge facility.  There are also 8 or 9 fully furnished cabins with kitchens, fireplaces and covered decks with a hot tub that overlook a spectacular river valley.  There's an excellent winery and German resturant (Weidekers) in Clarksville that is 30 minutes away... What could be better?  Evil

Of course now all I have to do is completely dismantle my bike and clean it  bang head laughingdp  Haven't even unpacked some of my Hill Country stuff yet.  Geez, what a slacker.

Thx for the tip, I'm sure it saved my phone.  I am now a believer in the ziplocks, and a non-believer in the weather.com.
