For anyone that has one of these, can you please tell me if it is more or less comfortable for a passenger than the stock seat?

thanks.

My wife says it's a little less comfortable than the stock because it's firmer. That being said, on the stock seat we only did short little rides around town. On the low seat we've done a couple of 2hr rides and she hasn't complained. I like it because I'm not the tallest guy around and it lowers ride hight. And it doesn't smash my nuts like the stock one.
Hope this helps. Oh, it looks cooler than the comfort seat too. waytogo

Is the seat made of a more "grippy" material than stock (primary seat, not passenger part)?  Looking to reduce the sliding forward on hard braking to save my boys.

Also, would you mind posting pics of the low seat mounted on your bike?  Thx

Yes its more grippy. The seating position changes, your kind of sitting lower and in the bike more if that makes seance. I'm not smashing against the tank anymore.

Great!  Low seat is now on my list (long list) of things to do.  I never even knew it existed as its not in the DP catalog my dealer gave me.  Btw your bike looks nice with all the subtle touches you added  waytogo waytogo

I did the lower seat mod yesterday.. its 80% better than stock boys not smashed at all, I just wish it was a tiny bit flatter so I could sit back further .. But hey Definitely worth it, the bike is much more user friendly now...

@ducnaked

Can you post a close up shot of the seat?  I'd like to get a look at the materials used.  Is it like a faux suede or textured leather?

I'd like to see it also.  I am 5'8" with 32" inseam, so I think I could use either seat.  Just want to save the boys, but the lower seat looks good (kind of raises the bars by lowering the seat)...

Its like a faux suede and it really sticks to your jeans.. Seat is much flatter and well worth the money, makes the whole experience 100% better

Awesome, thats exactly what I wanted to hear.  Ordered one!  Any issues with fitting the seat cowl/cover on the low seat?  I would assume its a perfect fit being a DP accessory.

no gap with stock seat

The stock fits a little better on the rear cowl. you can see the gap with the comfort seat.
The one thing I forgot to mention, is that the main part of the seat
 absorbs water like a sponge. It takes a long time to dry out.

It fits well the only issue  is when the rear cover is on the seat, The cover on the front corners does not fit 100% tight to the seat, As this seat is also a bit narrower so you can see a 1/4 in gap between the seat and the tip of the cover. Not a big deal hardly noticeable.
