HK = way over priced for what you get, and is simply not worth it in my opinion.  Pick up a well taken care of Glock 23 for carry, and you'll be in great shape.

Yeah, but I found a used one in like-new condition for 700 bucks.  Not too bad.

For some reason, I've never liked Glocks but I've never really been able to put my finger on why that is.

As far as the width of the HK, it's only 5mm wider than the XD-40 sub compact that I used to carry.  That's only about 1/8".  I don't think that'll bother me too much.

If you're looking for a holster for the CZ, check out crossbreedholster.com

They have an IWB called the Supertuck and it's available for the SP-01.

I used to carry my XD in one and it's a really good holster.  I went ahead and picked up the HK last night and already ordered one of the supertuck holsters for it.

$700 is still pretty pricey for a polymer gun, especially when you can most likely get two G23s for that price if you look around.  One of the things that I never cared for on the HKs, much like the Sig that I just sold, is the fact that the bore axis is so flipping high.  The Glock doesn't sit as low in the hand as a CZ, but it's close. Not the biggest of deals in 9mm, but it can help with recoil control on peppier rounds, like the .40; especially if you like to run them hot.

Second thing that keeps me from liking HK is:

Now as far as holsters go...  I don't think you could pay me to carry the SP-01 IWB.   Grin

I picked up one of these a while back.

Fits both the G17 & G19, is comfortable and completely disappears with little more than a t-shirt.

Is the height of the belt clips adjustable?

That's one of the things I really like about the holster I was talking about.

Sure is.  You can configure it to three different heights.

Nice.  And you can adjust them separately so as to alter the cant.

I got both of my supertucks made with horse hide.  It conforms to the contours of your body if you always wear it in the same place and fits incredibly well.

Has anyone used the S&W MP in 9 mm and could give me their opinion?
I handled one at the local gunshop and liked the way it felt in my hand.

Great Gun. I wouldn't hesitate.

Check out the kits from old faithful holsters. Really pretty awesome, especially for the price. My wife uses one for her p238, and I have one for my G27. Similar design to the crossbreed, half the price, and if you change guns, all you have to do is replace a cheap piece of kydex.

Also, if you prefer to carry an oddball gun that doesn't have a lot of holster options, you can shape your own kydex. Easier than it sounds.

Can I use a standard die set to resize and deprime once fired 9mm military brass?

I did a test on one and while it worked it was definitely on the tight side.

If the primers were crimped the issue will be repriming.

You'll need to swage or somehow remove the crimp from the primer pocket.

Ill swage.

I just tried a second case and it was really stiff in the die and the primer didn't pop out, jamming the case in the shell holder Tongue

Why are they this tight?  Is it the crimp on the primer?
