The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

I gotta give em props, that's a pretty ingenious way of getting your bike to wherever you want to be while riding your "motorcycle."

Kinda reminds me of this:

It's a trailer hitch mounted front wheel chock. That's just a really ghetto example of one. It's like a front-axle car dolly for a bike. You just have to take appropriate precautions to protect your drive train.

I know several people who use them, and they all rave about them. It's an easy way to get the bike AND the non-pillion-riding wife to wherever you want to vacation.

Do you have to disconnect your chain/belt/shaft for that?

*has visions of someone leaving their bike in gear and obliterating their transmission...*

They say that making sure you're in neutral should be fine. Me? I'd pull off my chain.

As I said, it's like a front-axle dolly. If you're gonna pull a rear wheel drive vehicle on one, I'd pull the drive shaft.

Paranoid? Maybe.
