Rear shock with resivor for S2R
«
on:

Anyone running a rear shock with resivor on an S2R/S4R, looking for pics and part number or specify which bike the shock originally came from. I can't get a Sach from a 999 to fit without having to grind bits.
Cheers

thats right. for a 999shock, you need to grind of the tab that is used to hold the ignition coil for the rear cylinder.

keep an eye on whether the rezzy hits the triangle part of the swinger

Here's what I did to provide a mounting point for the rear coil on my 695, after cutting off the original mounting tab.
