I'm in Queens. Does anyone have any idea about this issue..?

I'd really like not going into the shops cuz I'm only a college student with some economic issues..

If you know what this is going on and you are willing to come fix the problem I'll buy you a box of beer!! chug

It seems the bike doesn't recognize my keys.(tried both black keys and I don't have the red key or the code)

The EOBD and immobilizer light went on as long as I turn the ignition to on and stay solid. I pressed the starter but nothing happened, not even a click.

Sometimes the bike recognize the keys and the immobilizer light and EOBD light went off and I could start the bike with no problem.

I guess I'm screwed..

Hey I posted up in your thread in the tech section.

I've been through this enough times to want to push my bike into the Hudson!!   bang head

Try removing the gauges, which is simple, and bringing them inside to dry out thoroughly.
Like I mentioned, I know this doesn't sound high-tech, but the immobilizer would always kick in on my bike after it was rained on.  To the point that I used to carry a ziplock bag under my seat to cover the gauges with to keep them dry.  Undecided

Also try disconnecting the battery and the ECU.  Don't ask, but that's worked the last time, when I got stuck up in Poughkeepsie at a Lee Parks Course when my bike got poured on and shut down during the middle of the class.

What the heck...  then put everything back together and pray for the best.

if your going to let your gauges dry, just open them up and let it dry fully, then use clear silicone caulking to run a bead before you put it together.

I don't know if you have the Torx screwdriver (which I think you need it's been a while) to take the gauges apart, if you do then definitely take them apart.

after you use the Phillips for the outside shell you need a Torx for something inside, to completely take them apart.

theres nothing like that on mine. its just 4 plastic clips that hold the main board to the white shell that focuses the light onto the guage face. Theres several versions of it though. I think the S2R800 shares the same one as mine. the 695 was different for sure.

I think mine has 2 torx holding the gauges to the bike.
