I've been through this enough times to want to push my bike into the Hudson!!
Try removing the gauges, which is simple, and bringing them inside to dry out thoroughly.
Like I mentioned, I know this doesn't sound high-tech, but the immobilizer would always kick in on my bike after it was rained on. To the point that I used to carry a ziplock bag under my seat to cover the gauges with to keep them dry.
Also try disconnecting the battery and the ECU. Don't ask, but that's worked the last time, when I got stuck up in Poughkeepsie at a Lee Parks Course when my bike got poured on and shut down during the middle of the class.
What the heck... then put everything back together and pray for the best.
