Will these work with the seat cowl installed as well?

Not that I have a 696/796/1100, but

A piece designed to work with both the cowl on and off could be possible.

example:
Cap and adaptor piece for when the cowl is being used, and just the Cap when the cowl is not being used.

Does that make sense?  Pretty much it would be the "no cowl cap", and an adaptor with the back side like the "cowl cap".

Makes no sense...  diameter for use inside the cowl are a lot smaler than a good looking diameter to use without the cowl. Ducati give an Adapter inside the box, so its possible to use the cowl Version without the cowl... but Looks not good enough for me :-)

yeah that adapter is just a black plastic washer that is the same thickness as the seat cover. if you don't use it, there is a gap between the bolt and seat.

I understand what you are saying Chris, plus it's good for you. now someone has to buy 2 sets from you to maintain the look with or without the cowl Wink

hey man ... thanks !!!!!!  waytogo

on S4Rs theres not so much special parts needed ... standard frame plugs like the picture before works fine, tail chop plugs like this can use also

of corse same as handle bar caps like this

if you miss any "special S4Rs parts" let me know
