I plan to pop out fairly early both Saturday and Sunday mornings.  I plan to be at CaD by 9:00 both days and can have breakfast and wait for anyone who wants to ride.

Sing out.
I ended up working 1/2 a day today and missed out on the  [moto]
But I will be there Sunday morning  Cool

You didn't miss much today.  There was some sort of charity fundraiser walking event today on the Crest Road, so everything above the ski area was choked with pedestrians, and everything below was choked with cars.

I had breakfast, hung out, putted around, went down to the cafe on south 14 for a while, then headed home.

I did slip into my too tight leathers this morning, though, then into the shower (yes....in that order), then onto the bike for the day's riding.  I got them started down the road to fitting my rounded physique, now all I have to do is finish the job.   Wink

I just hope it was worth buying leathers a size smaller than I should have because I got a good deal on 'em.  When I say I got a good deal, I mean smokin' good. $180 delivered to my door for a used, though they look brand new to me, Teknic one-piece in black...they're tight across the shoulders and tight around the legs.  Teknics are notorious for running small, so maybe I should have held out for larger ones, but dang....it's hard to beat that price.

I broke a zipper pull on my boots today, too, so I might have to spring for a new set of Sidis.  I found out at MotoAuthority, today, that Sidi now makes a line of motorcycle boots in a wide width!!  I have pretty wide feet, so I'd probably have sprung for those anyway.  My current Sidis have always been too tight across the instep.  Pretty cool, huh?

See you in the morning.

Well you got yourself an awesome deal and a great challenge.... I don't have to tell you that tight leathers is what you want for safety reasons but they also look a heck of a lot better on
a good body than loose leathers do waytogo
Hope to see everyone tomorrow [moto]

Well after reading Zasters post about Cloner in tight black leathers I'm not sure what to say or where to go with the story of our day, but will say we are not very sad we missed the ride (or lack of) today. We did have a fantastic day at Indian Market in SF.  We saw cupcake raking in the loot, and had a great lunch @ maria's.  We just finished dinner at the Anasasi with Spanish Fly, she is in town for the weekend. Plan on seeing her again tomorrow.    We had a blast!

Thanks for coming out to play Cloner  waytogo
The Crest ride in low traffic was a blast  [moto]
Hooked up with my friend Joseph afterwards to let him ride the monster....he hadn't ridden an Italian bike since he owned a Moto Guzzi Le Mans in the early '80's.
Only one problem... he still hasn't figured out how to wipe that grin off his face Grin applause

Ok....what's the dealio, yo?

In honor of Larry's induction of Friday into the "Weekend Hall of Fame", I'm taking tomorrow off to go for a ride.  Anybody else game?

How about Saturday?

How about Sunday?

Ashley is flying to Knoxville to see her Mother tomorrow morning at 6:15 am, and I'm Jonesing for a bit of mileage after I drop her off.  Is everybody working?  Anybody game for 152?  How about 4?  How about 64?  Cloudcroft?  Come on....somebody has to be willing to ride!!!  Isn't this a motorcyclists' board?

Tap...tap...tap.  Is this thing on?  Bueller?  Bueller?

If the Jemez is dry tomorrow, I would love to do a Jemez loop run.  Don't know yet if we can though.  Depends on how much we accomplish today.  Will talk to KB and let you know later today.  Smiley

Holler at me when you guys get up and we'll figure something out.  If nothing else, maybe I can meet you at Downtown Java Joes for a drop of coffee before I head out solo.
