RED DEVIL PROPELLED WITH LOUD DESMO~~FIRE~~

« Reply #1515 on: June 03, 2010, 07:00:41 AM »

Who's down for a Taos plus run this coming weekend?  J.J. mentioned maybe going to Eagle Nest up by Red River, which sounds pretty cool to me.

It'd be nice to take the SS for one more decent run before I tear her down to repair the oil leak at the vertical head.

Saturday or Sunday?  I think Saturday would be better, maybe leave around 8:00 or so?  Who's available?  Who's interested? Who knows the air speed velocity of a fully laden swallow?

I'm open either Saturday or Sunday to do this trip to Taos and Eagle Nest. We can do the high roads to Taos through Cundiyo, Truchas and then Eagle Nest..if you have more appetite to ride and eat, lunch in Red River and then back through the Eagle nest windy roads into Taos, and a casual slow coast through low roads back into Santa Fe...Both days show perfect weather all through Truchas, Eagle Nest and Red river..Wind at 10mph means you have better risks opening your throttle!  waytogo Lets fix it and DO IT!  [moto]

I vote for an 8:30 a.m. meeting at Starbucks in Bernalillo, meet in Santa Fe at 9:30 at St. Francis, then points north.

Who's in besides me? [moto]

Ms. Mel....you got your scoot back yet?  KB?  PC and DM?  Ed?  Lorenzo?  ANYBODY???

What's up with that junk, yo?  Is it broken?  Warranty repair?  Waiting for accessories?  WTF?  PJ needs to put some personal attention into that chunk o' crap!  At least that's my two cents worth.

Hey, Dr. Cloner,

I would like to join the Saturday back roads survey crew to Taos and beyond.

8:30 in the AM is a little early but entirely understandable.  Early is cooler and we can make good time with less traffic.

The ride sounds like fun!  I will be there with the cackling Duc.

Is the Starbucks caffeine addicts outpatient treatment facility on the north side of 550 and just west of the gas station?

Zaster....you can come if you bring Adam (or Pam, or money to buy my lunch....your call).   Grin

Ed....yes, it's on the north side of 550 and I'm pretty sure it's west of a gas station somewhere.  It's hard to miss, though, so just watch where you're going.

J.J., is this time suitable for you?

Stew....sucks you can't come.  Tell P.J. (or maybe Aaron) to finish Ms. Mel's bike so she can come along next time.

Ratfink....what can I say.  Blow off work.  Done! Evil

Anyone else?

Dr. Cloner, OUT!

I'm out... Because I'm here in NY, dealing with heat *and* humidity. Having an ocean a few miles away is both a blessing and a curse.
