So I recently ordered and installed this kit. Part # 969.7.060.4B.  This is the picture from Ducati for this kit:

When the kit was received and installed, the carbon fender was not this one at all.  It was a carbon version of the stock one.  Any advice on what to do?  Ducati N.A. seems to have no explanation or suggestions.  I'm going to try to call Italy tomorrow morning.

You're doing the right thing by calling directly.  Odd are, the person who pulled the parts didn't know what they were grabbing and then the pic got taken and sent off to the printer before someone (if they even have by this point) noticed the discrepancy.

I don't know what they'll do for you in this situation, but keep us apprised!

In my opinion, the fender is a BIG part of the kit.  Really changes the look of the bike.

Agreed!  I hope that Ducati will realize the error and make good on the false advertising.   waytogo

No dice. I ordered the same thing, and got the same Monster carbon fender, not the SBK carbon fender pictured. They just used a photo of the wrong fender, but you got what you were supposed to get.

I happen to know that the fender pictured is for a Monster. (I have my sources)  And that they are still using this carbon supplier.

It'll fit a monster, that's for sure - but they are the fender for older Superbikes

Dude, you got what you ordered. That bodywork kit is for the Monster, and you got a tank, seat cowl, front fairing and fender for a Monster. Ducati is remiss for using a stock photo for a carbon superbike fender in the description for the kit.

I happen to know because I ordered the same exact thing and got the same exact thing as you.

DNA has lost their marbles lately.  I've had ordering issues with three different things just like this and every time they say it's not their fault yet the website stays the same.  I'd raise living hell every single day.  They should fix it and if they don't email Italy and everyone on the board.....it works.

I'd return it based on what the picture shows. That's a SBK fender...but that's what you thought you were getting! That fender looks WAY better than the Monster ones.

You could probably just buy a SBK fender from eBay, then get it and all your existing bodywork painted like that for about the same price as the complete kit.

Alternatively, sell the Monster fender and buy a Shift Tech CF SBK fender.

I rather like the Monster fender, but it does nothing to protect the forks. Sell it. I sold mine. Think I got damn near $200 for it too, and I used it. Just sell yours and buy a carbon SBK front fender from Shift Tech. I'm going to be rocking an 848 fender soon.

I'm gonna pitch my best false-advertising complaint ever tomorrow.  I really do think it's wrong on Ducati's behalf to have that pictured worldwide and do nothing about fixing it.  Fact is, I got a great deal on this kit and I don't want to return it, I want the fender I bought.  Hopefully Italy will be more customer service-oriented than their American division.

It really is a good feeling when someone actually takes interest in your concerns.  The lady I spoke with this morning was much more helpful than my experience yesterday.  I should hear from her by the end of the week. waytogo  Let's see what happens.  Either way, worst case scenario is that I get stuck with a carbon fender!

How much are these body kits? I have the 07 titanium S4R and would love a set of red bodywork. I can't find the bodywork kits on the ducati site.   Huh?
