I hope I can get as lucky, but what would my defense be for crossing a DY near Tomales Bay? And I have a feeling he would show up just because I ride a Duc and he rides a 'busa.

The best defense is to run from the Police and not get caught in the first place Grin

I have a feeling he would show up just because I have a large penis and he is hung like a gnat.

Fixed it for you.

I'm not sure what the conditions were under which you crossed the DY.  You might say that the car in front of you sped up during your pass or that you were concerned about your safety because a car behind you was tail-gating.  I've heard that people look online for plausible excuses that might apply to their situations and then fudge them as necessary.  Of course I wouldn't publicly condone such an action.  I'm just passing along stuff that you may or may not consider doing.

A famous one is "He pulled over to let me pass, then changed his mind."

That's too lucky! Fek I'm 2 for 2 in Marin. Both cops showed up.
Both times it was a bull shit ticket that I had WON with proof it was a bull shit ticket.

Once I had the cop admitting he didn't know the physics of radar and couldn't prove it was a valid technique at which point the judge shut him up, slammed the gavel and said 'Pay anyway pregnant dog. This is Marin and we likes our money!  Evil '

Any advice for this dumb schmuck that got a "passing on the shoulder" infraction on the way back from MotoGP races at Laguna Seca a couple weekends ago?  I was thinking of claiming I was lane sharing until someone cut me off and I was just looking for a spot to get back into the regular lane??

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Say that it was an emergency maneuver as a result of just what you said.  Draw a little diagram to go with it.  That'll work.
