"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

The list price on eBay was $1,500.00.  Guessing it was for the convenience of not having to wait months.  Just find it odd to show price at 893 euro but starting price was that much.

Far from a deal - more like a crack head

Hypermotard 796 - 13,700.00 or obo. That's thousands above the the new MSRP

*edit
Interesting - price is now down $1000 after I send him a message telling him, in nice terms, he was nuts to ask $3500 over new MSRP. If I send him 6 more notes and get the same result we might be in the ball park.

That's exactly his thought process. With shipping, he paid 1250USD so he's adding a margin for someone who would want one this season.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to email him (Brian): bdfreedman at gmail dot com.

Man, if I had the free time I might have to pounce on that... but free time is in short supply. One could probably make a profit on it just breaking it up - sad as that might be.
