That's a technically amazing bike, but I think they broke the ugly stick they hit it so hard.

They hit it twice, once on the left and once on the right. That's why it's got those big bumps.
It's good to see on the new Buell they did away with that. I seem to recall a pic somewhere of one where someone just got rid of that and redid ducting / put a huge radiator or something on it. Made the bike look supah dupah.

I believe that was the Pegasus racing folks from Germany that were racing the bulked out 1190 version and winning...

Buddy of mine died on one last year though, kinda knocked the shine off...

I love the bubble fairings on those, and have often thought about fabbing up mounts to mine so I could do that (bumble bee looking Paul Smart), but damn he's asking too much money for that bike. And I can't imagine needing to lower one. They aren't all that tall to begin with.

Yeah - I thought the same thing - why lowered? Best bet is to return it to stock I'd say.
I really liked them too, except the fairing is too "heavy" looking with the bevels they put in. Makes it look ponderous in my eyes.
Then there's this, if ya got some extra dosh laying about:

That, my good sir, is one mighty fine motoscoot. I'd love to have that to go along with my '06.
