Just wanted to stop by the Socal board and introduce myself. My name is Erik and I just recently joined the Ducati nation after a love affair that began back in the 80's at the superbike  races at Laguna Seca. I now ride a 09 M1100, red of course. Would love to meet other Duc riders since all the people I get to ride with now have Jap bikes....

Welcome, there's a great group of guys down here in SoCal. Some people on this board say that we SoCal'ers don't really ride but I assure you we do.
Keep you eyes open, I'm sure there will be some rides coming up soon. My knee is on the mend so I hope I'll be back on mine soon.

Ryan, another ride up the 33?!

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I am in San Clemente. My family will be in town this weekend so my riding plans have to be postponed. I was thinking of taking a ride next Sunday afternoon. I don't really want to do the ortega hwy, too busy every weekend on that road. If anyone has other ideas let me know....

I saw a few monsters on Saturday but none at NCR.  The road to Wrightwood is perfect and the weather was/is fantastic at the moment.

I got a flat tire on the way home while on Upper Big Tujunga which kinda sucked but all an all a great ride.
