Well It appears I  posted in the wrong forum, I did'nt realise you Americans were so segregated male & female wise that is. I was wondering if any one has purchased from a good on-line store that they trust. What I am looking for is leather pants with knee elastic, possibly elsewhere also but not sliders. I cannot find anything down here in Oz.      Hope you can help    Grin

We're not segregated... I'm not even a girl. They were just trying to point you in some helpful directions. The ladies here are quite knowledgeable and have had running dialogues about getting quality gear that actually fits women.

For a pant suggestion - I've sold my soul to the Italian devils at Dainese. They have a ladies version of the Firefly which matches your Leather, stretch knees and no slider critieria:

As far as stores - not that it might help you much being way over there.. but I like:
Revzilla.com - good prices good selection, many times have videos of the gear

NewEnough.com - good prices, not a large a selection, but top notch customer service. Has detailed photos they shoot, with notes on the features and their thoughts on fit, value etc for every item they sell.

Kneedraggers.com - Large selection, good prices. They ship *very* quickly to me. Which won't be a plus for you...

Motowheels.com - a board sponsor. Lots of shiny Dainese stuff.. just watch your wallet as they sell a lot of goodies for your bike too.

Though if you want more general input from the masses, there's a Gear section of the board

Folks will have some thoughts for stores if you ask there as well. If you're looking for a particular brand people can help you hunt down vendors for that brand as well.

Good luck  waytogo

I've had best luck with finding good-fitting gear from Dainese and Rev'It.  I bought mine in the stores though, so I'm not sure the best place to order online from.  Good luck!

Yuu has some good thoughts there with the online stores and everything. Having a women's section just lets us girls get advice from each other about gear and riding stuff.

My leathers are Dianese, they fit my more curvy lower half pretty decently after some work on the length, but like somegirl said, I got mine in a store.

There's several gear threads here in the women's section. One may have more info for you.

Hi Mage, sportsrider is supposed to get the 796 in august, I hope to get up and check it out, do not think that I am upgrading - should be safe if I do not sit on it as the last bike I sat on up there is the one in my shed laughingdp, damn that Andy as he laughed when he saw me on it and said that was it I would be back!  My leather pants are Shifts' a while ago I posted a badly titled thread "What gear do you ride in" it has the type and size (as right at the moment I think my brain has shut down).  When I come up to check out the 796 I will let you know, they are also going to try to have some Alpinestar Ladies Stella GP gloves in for me to try (they look like they will have lost of good protection).  Hope that everyone is HAPPY!!
