Do it! Do it now!  I actually wasn't planning on getting a belly pan before, but I think it would balance out the look of my bike. $218 is not that bad. Speaking of belly pans, I did a quick search to see if there are any other ones out there, but there doesn't seem to be many. Have you looked at others? |

Yea, there are a few for the 696. The most common is the Barracuda belly pan. I have also seen a small goofy carbon fibre one and a few custom made pieces.
This Xcentric appears to be both the best looking and cheapest. The unpainted barracuda is ~$275..
This is a painted piece w/ install kit for $218.

Wow, I am seeing a few of those for the first time. Still, they are all ugly  I am still trying to decide..... I am standing next to the bike while typing trying to make up my mind. *e-mailed the guys a Xcentric one more time asking for larger photos. If they send any I will post them here as well. |

Agreed. They are pretty ugly.
You have the pearl like me (I have the red frame though). I think it would look nice with our color because of the contrast.

Ain't nothing wrong with a little junk in tha trunk  I like the seat cowl, but I would probably just go for the belly pan because I don't have a problem with the stock one. i like the belly pan, not sure about the cowl, it looks like it gives the bike a fat ass

Lol at me for not realizing there were 7 other photos...
Idk, my bike is already the best looking 696 on the planet. The question is, will this make it better?
I really can't decide if I like it better with or without the cowl.
I think I'm just going to buy it and try it out. If I don't like it I'll sell it to one of you for the same cost I paid but without shipping. So you would save $68 and it would cost me $68 to find out I didn't like it. Hell, I have spent more money or a lot more stupid shit..
