I picked up my new 796 on Saturday and I'm seriously in love.... But I don't know if it has the same fenders as the 696 or the 1100 when it comes to finding a way to get rid of the silly plastic tail.

Anyone have any ideas?

it looks like it's setup like the 1100 even with the flapper valve.

i would try to look for an 1100 one instead of a 696 one if they are listed differently with a manufacturer

I was talking to MotoCreations yesterday about my Duc.EE and they told me they have something wicked coming out.  I would wait for it if I were you--give them a call.  CF and the description he gave made it sound very nice! bacon

My M1100 is running the DP tail tidy originally fitted to my M696, so I'm guessing either would fit M796.

I have the Evotech also, got it rom Jeff at Monsterparts.  Fit perfectly.  Now I got the servo out yesterday and saved a bit of weight...

Installed, it worked beautifully. Navigating the lock cable was a bit of a tricky proposition, but in the end it all came out ok. The existing Ducati tail has some very sharp edges in there, be careful!

glad to hear it worked.  My problem was I didn't know how to unplug the tail light, and found a better plug under the seat area.... but you pull up on the little tab on the plug and I was constantly trying to push down!!!  Made sense at the time   bang head
