Right on.  My wife and I spent a week strafing the Colorado front range twisties.  Riding hard 2-up can be quite fun.  Its also highly entertaining when you go around a purebread sport bike on the outside while 2-up on a Bandit with a week's worth of gear and sparks flying from the peg feelers  Evil

I find that adding rear preload is generally pretty critical if your pillion is significantly over 100lbs.  Around 100lbs more preload certainly still helps, but seems less necessary on most machines.
