Here are a few pics with the exhaust moved a little further back.

I'm having a hard time deciding which way I like it better. I guess when I start the mock up process for the midpipe I'll see which way it looks better then.

What do you guys think?

Not like my opinion matters all that much since it is your bike but I love that look much better.

I strongly think that's the right position.
Make sure the s-pipes are a distinct S. The Termi S4R s-pipes are too straight/flat, IMO.

I agree but the problem is if it's in the farther back position the midpipe will be a little flatter like the Termi midpipe. Not quite as flat but still not really an "s". If I add the distinct "s" in the pipe it will make the pipe longer and ruin the look of having the can in the rearward position.

Yeah, but that visual issue can be avoided by "dividing" the pipe into sections - an extra bend, several welded sections, a detour under the frame, heat shields, different colors, .....

or let the upper/rear part of the s follow the wheel bend? As in a long curve.

Position looks fine.

IMO: It would look killer if you could mount it higher closing the gap between the can and the frame...

But as you already mounted your (old) signal set up, you would have to probably relocate the seat lock, and mounting the can directly to the frame tube, it would be a lot of work...again...

Also

What are your plans for the cross-over/collector?

Hiding the cross-over/collector under the bike would look clean.

how hard would it be to take the can high on the other side of the bike?

would better fit with the key position.

When I first saw it I wasn't sure. Now that you have it almost finished I am liking it a lot more. Looks really good.  I can't wait to hear it in a video.

Looks good.

Any plans for the hanger.  Kinda sticks out...color wise. CF will go nice.
