Had to sell my M900 despite the very generous assistance to help me keep it earlier this year...  :'(  (MUCH thanks again to those peeps...)

Arrived in Albuquerque bike-less...  I hate being bike-less...  Well, this is what fell in my lap and what I've done to it for the $567 thus far:

$250 for the purchase of the bike
$50 for the used SpeedMaster gauges *(note mileage is incorrect. Bike has about 36K on it)
$205 for the new Michelin Pilot Road's (Love these tires!!!)
$25 for a new rear tube
$20 for an oil filter (oil was a donation)
$0 for Ducati Multistrada 620 handlebars (take-offs)
$0 for used grips (old ones were shagged)
$0 for CRG bar-end mirrors (these were off an old project of mine)
$60 for a Kawi ZX9R rear shock (BEST investment!!! OMFG what a difference!!!!!!!!!!)
$7 for some PVC and a hack-saw to add more pre-load to the front
$0 to swap the LH passenger peg for the rider peg
$0 to add an M8 bolt, nut and some vacuum tubing to repair the shift lever
$0 to straighten and paint the mangled gauge panel (old speedo was completely busted up in the get-off)
$0 to drop the front forks 0.725" in the triples
$0 to trim back the horn cover
$0 for used Ducati Monster front signals
$0 to drill 8x 1/2" holes in the air-box to help rid myself of the rich carb condition that existed before
$0 for a used D675 3-into-1 header (yet to go on)
$40 for 1x used Remus muffler from a Ducati Monster (also yet to go on)

Complaints/yet to do:
Tach only reads to 8K, but it reads correctly so I don't care. It's an old bike anyhow and 8K to 8.5K isn't that much more power...
Speedo reads slightly high but what OEM one doesn't?!?
I'm in the desert SW and on a hot day...boy does this thing throw heat! (I'm used to air-cooled bikes).
Would like to do a tail-chop on it and rid myself of the 'alien-head' tail-lamp, but for now...it stays.

Not bad stew.  Low bucks for a decent ride.  I'd get on top of it Wink

Bike was involved in a wreck & has a salvage title. Previous owner didn't want it anymore so he sold it to the dealer I used to work for & he flipped it to me for the same $.  Grin

Besides a tail chop & the 3-into-1, it's done.  Oh, maybe some carb jetting...  I've finally realized that its nice to keep at least one running bike around!  Roll Eyes

Sweet ride for the money!  Just my opinion but mod list should stay limited items you can remove (free) and new/used parts you find laying around (your garage or others).  Keep the bike under $1K invested and ride the pi$$ out of it!  Many times that's a story way more interesting than "Yeah that full Ti system was 1 billion dollars plus the custom ecu mapping etc........"

Enjoy the ride!

Nice find, but quit distracting me.  I'm busy trying to find ways to take that harley off your hands.  Tried selling my kids to overseas sweatshops to make nike shoes and Kathy Lee clothes, but that's more complicated than I anticipated...

Bled the front brake and clutch today.  No more lurching forward going from N to 1 at a stop, and better brake feel to-boot.

Cost?  $0.

Tail-chop will be performed for as close to $0 as possible but my idea on how to do it involves buying some new brake lights and a set of lighted plate bolts too.

The 3-into-1 system that USED to be available for the bike was around $700, so far I'm planning on a 3-into-1 w/a Remus can for around $75.
