HOT??!?!!?!?

I just got back from an intense 60 mile ride in full gear. That's hot...

Then again I was probably averaging 75-80 the entire time so the wind kept me cool. I just wish I could have my own racetrack in my back yard, I need to get lower and go faster but I am out of roads to carve up... Plus there is the  Police always watching, waiting.

At least your bike does look nice, I can excuse the short shorts and speed socks this once  Grin

I'm in SE PA near Philadelphia but I go to college at Shippensburg... whats that about 45 minutes away from Harrisburg?
Graduating in may.. not soon enough.. need to make real money to support my addiction.

Yeah, definitely close.  About a month ago I just made it to Ship before running out of gas.  Are you going to Bike Fest in Carlisle this weekend?  Provided the weather is good, I'm planning to attend.  If you make an appearance, I'd love to check out your bike, particularly that H-Comp exhaust.

Whats a "bike fest" sounds like a good time!

Unfortunately I am working 72 hours a week as a cook over my summer break to afford all the shiny things on my bike, not to mention the other required expenses in life. When the semester starts up I'll be living in Ship and not working at all so I will have plenty of time to ride. We should meet up for a group ride some time. It would be nice to ride with another Ducati guy. You probably know some great roads in the area as well. Plus if your considering my exhaust you must hear it in person to understand the "awesome" power of it.

I don't think that the differences in the exhaust are nothing other than looks. It is the same mid-pipe, and same baffles, just different look. If I were to cut off the box, and you were to remove the ends of the tubes, I believe it's all the same. But maybe ryanracer can chime in on this.

Actually, between the two the sound is quite different! The box is a little quieter and deeper tone than the twin tubes.  The twin tubes have a little bit of a popping timbre to them.  If you look at the outlet size, the twin tube is (2) 1 1/2" dia holes where as the box is a 2" dia hole.  Also the box packing is a bit looser so it absorbs the exhaust pulse a bit more.  The twin tubes are packed very tightly so there is a different tone.  Soon, we will be retailing just the tips so you can swap them out in 5 minutes depending on your mood I guess..

It's a 3-day event this weekend in Carlisle.  This will be my first time there.  Check it out:

Ouch!  That's a serious work schedule.  I'm a relatively new biker so I'm still learning the good routes in the area, but yeah, it would be fun to hook up some time.  I've been meaning to join the local Ducati club, Rombo Rosso, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Oh I know about hot.. I just did a 1500 mile, 4 day trip of 5-9 hours of riding a day through central CA and central OR up to the BMW GS 30th anniversary rally. Talk about hot!!!! I had to buy a whole new set of riding gear because the heat was too much. So my speed socks and shorts were a nice treat for being home. Grin

I joined their site and posted in the forum welcome thread.

Hopefully I'll be able to meet up and ride with you and whoever else is willing. Would be pretty cool riding around with a mob of Ducatisti.

Not to be a threat hi-jacker..... But

I like those Rizoma belt covers.  The round ends go well with the silver piece in the bike frame below.

I'd like to see the covers and the H Comp exhaust on my black/silver 1100 with the SSS.

Thanks for the pics!  waytogo
