After installing the fender eliminator on my shiny new 796, I'm noticing a lot of street gravel (mostly tiny) getting on the back of my seat... Is this something you guys have experienced?

it's the reason my "to do" list today includes installing the hugger/fender.

Don't think that's going to help...unless it's a REALLY REALLY LONG hugger/fender.

Yeah, there's a hugger on my 796 already, but this is clearly "roostertail" gravel. Hopefully when I get my license plate installed it'll block a bit of it.

That's what fenders are for!
My used 696 came with a fender eliminator. One of the first things I did was put the fender back on in order start the rain of grit hitting my back.

I chopped mine for the added functionality. Nothing to do with looks.

The added functionality of the gravel collector for the back of the seat. Well that and the ass hydrolyzer (when it's raining)

I sharted when I read "ass hydrolyzer" Good stuff. This company Emotuk sells a CF hugger for the 696 that is extended over stock length.

I complained about the roostertail (new term for me btw) to a friend and he laughed and said, "good thing you did it for the looks!"
