To officially become a member you need to sign up to the Google group:

This is also where most of the events are posted. I will make sure to post all the events here as well. Also, if you currently own a Ducati and have not done so, please register on the Ducati website and you'll receive a welcome kit. It's not a big deal, some pins, stickers and some other small goodies.
