11:30 pm in South Central, Ohio watching the 3rd in a series of severe Thunder Storms to come through in the last 24 hours.

Hoping the Power doesn't get knocked out or any large trees get blown over.

Planning a ride for this weekend when the temps are suppose to drop.

I'm in southwest Ohio (Dayton)- big storms here too. I was doing a jam session with my friend (him guitar, me keyboards) at a local bar- power went out for about ten seconds and then came back on. Everything re-booted, and we just started again on the same note where we left off.  ;D

Man those were some ridiculous storms last night! My dog was freaking out.

I'm sitting in Downtown Columbus OH, thinking about the start of Buckeyes training camp a couple of miles away. (started today)

Also, heading down to Bowling Green KY this weekend to check out Mammoth Cave and play some disc golf.

At the office on the balcony. Apparently BMW is shooting commercials in the area. This truck is full of next model year motorcycles. I wish my camera could see through that truck.

Dude, come on. There is more to life than the Buckeyes!!!  ;D

Mammoth Cave kicks ass. I remember going when I was 14 or 15, would love to go back as an adult.

If you aren't afraid of small spaces, pay for the tour where you get to crawl around through little areas and shit. You get a headlamp and everything. It kicks ass.

Also.....if you chose this method.........take clothes you potentially will never wear again and also, dress warm. The cave is quite cold.

Earlier today in a much milder ( upper 70s, lower humidity atmosphere ) I went for a 5 hour ride through the Hocking Hills and Wayne and Zaleski National Forests.

I decided to stop at Lake Hope and snap a quick photo of the S 1000 R R.

All in all a good ride.

Very nice shot Dolph.  btw, scale of 1-10, how is the S1000RR as a highway commuter?

Dante, I am not sure how to answer that question in light of the fact that I don't work since I'm retired and I very rarely ride on what you may think of as " highways ."

I can tell you that the bike is turbine smooth, pulls in any gear for the most part.

You can be going 40 in 4th no problem , or 60 in 6th gear.

The bike runs fine at 3500 rpms in 6th gear all the way to 14,000 rpms in the 1st 5 gears so I'm told. ( I don't get above 7,000 rpms in any gear on the road ) no need to.

Handles like a dream.

I have 1200 miles on the bike and get 38 mpg. ,95% in the twisties.
